By downloading or using the Kid English with Turkan app (the "App"), you are deemed to accept the terms below. Please read them carefully.
1. Description of the service
The App offers content that helps parents use English in everyday life with their children aged 0-6: example sentences and their recordings, activities, mini games, songs/videos and informational articles for parents. The App is a learning SUPPORT tool; it does not replace formal education or professional pedagogical advice.
2. Parental supervision
The App is intended for adults (parents). Use of the children's section by children is under the parent's supervision and responsibility. Leaving the children's section is protected by a PIN set by the parent; keeping the PIN safe and not sharing it is the user's responsibility.
3. Account
A parent account is optional (with email/password, Google or Apple). You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account and for the security of your account details. You can delete your account from within the App at any time.
4. Subscription (Premium)
- Some content requires a paid "Premium" subscription. Prices are shown on the purchase screen in the currency of your country.
- Subscriptions renew automatically; unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the fee is charged to your App Store / Google Play account.
- You can cancel the subscription at any time in your store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Payments and refunds are subject to Apple's/Google's own policies; refund requests are made to the relevant store.
- With "Restore Purchases" you can activate your existing subscription on your new device.
5. Intellectual property
All content in the App (texts, recordings, images, videos, software) and the "Kid English with Turkan" name and logo belong to or are licensed to Mehmet Akif Derebent. The content is for personal/family use only; it may not be copied, distributed or used for commercial purposes.
6. Acceptable use
Using the App for unlawful purposes, reverse engineering it, attempting to bypass security measures or disrupting the operation of the service is prohibited.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". It is not guaranteed to work without interruption or errors. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for indirect damages arising from the use of the App. Managing the time spent on the device with your child is at the parent's discretion.
8. Changes and termination
The terms and the App's content may be updated from time to time; significant changes are published on this page. Access to the service may be terminated in case of a breach of the terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the competent courts and enforcement offices in Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. Consumer rights are reserved.
